Luke has been a great supporter of Wolfrace for a few years now and we are obsessed with his Golf R and are amazed to see how far it has come, especially with its new look with the addition to air ride which tucks our Munich GTR Black Edition!

We asked Luke to give us a little information about his car life and this stunning vehicle.

“I have always been fascinated in cars and motorbikes, originally i started with bikes but due to an accident i moved my focus towards cars more. I’ve had many cars in my time of driving but my first real modified car  I had was a MK3 Golf GTI and was also my biggest regret in letting that car go. From there i decided to stick with VW, getting a MK7 TDI which i modified into a GTI replica, until i upgraded again years later to my current MK7 Golf R.

A few standout modifications I’ve done to the R so far including a 3P Airlift Performance kit, one of my dreams to have a car on air ride completed, numerous cosmetic mods like full lowline kit, TRC front splitter, side skirts and Maxton rear diffuser fins with additional yellow pinstriping.  A colour coded Pandem Spoiler, not a spoiler you see about and a big change from the oettinger one I had one before, definitely sets a different look for the rear end.

A few performance bits, full cat back exhaust system, no resonator or backbox so your average loud and proud exhaust finished off with 4inch blue titanium burnt tips and a Ram Air induction kit. Soon down the road I do plan to add more performance, but my aim was to get the car looking show worthy first.

One mod I didn’t mention and the most important are the wheels, I have Wolfrace Munich GTRs in 18s wrapped in Michelin pilot sports 4s. The reason I chose these wheels is because the Wolfrace name takes me back many many years when Need for Speed Underground and Gran Turismo where the racing games to have and I started seeing Wolfrace branding alot, then seeing their wheels and always wanted to have a set on my personal car. When I saw these, I had to get them and they suit the car so well. I receive daily comments on the wheels asking where I got them, what are they called etc” – Luke
